Pre-Season Rankings
3A Region 4

NaShae Owens hopes to lift
the Pirates to new heights!

Region 4 is ripe for the picking with no clear favorites. Hidalgo holds the upper hand thanks to the experience factor and last year's trip to Austin. West Oso is dangerous and will play a big role because of their quickness and tenacious defense. The Hurricanes behind Kiante Ageous will be very tough and could present a big problem at regionals. Though the region 4 race should prove an exciting battle this grouping probably does not contain the fire power necessary to claim a state title in ‘10.
