Angeleigh Davis and the Running Rebels look for back to back trips to State.

There probably is not a team here with what it takes to be the 4A state champions this go around, but with that said it should prove to be one of the better regional battles since no one stands out as the dominate club. Hays certainly holds the upper hand since they have most of their pieces in place and carry the extreme advantage of having already been there. Yes, Hays won 30+ games last year and they probably do so again but they are small and vulnerable to teams that can play in the paint. Luckily for Hays none of the strong teams (Willis, Angleton & Kingwood Park) in region 3 bring enough of a post game to take advantage of their weakness.
