Keena Mays and the Timberwolves are this year's favorites.

Polls that hold themselves to placing four or five teams from each region find themselves in trouble with the 4A Top 20, since most of the best teams this year are packed into region 1 & 2. We don't put teams in the state poll because of where they stand in their repsective regions we only place them here based on their overall strength. The Timberwolves are the best team in this state classification but they also come from the deepest region so they are favored but no shoe in. You could just about go to the bank if you had the top five versus the field, because the state champ will most likely be one them.
